Our Story
Mosey Creative was first established in 2015 in a Brooklyn cafe to encompass the meandering artistic pursuits of Spencer Stewart and Lucy Stewart. At that time we were performing, recording an album, designing websites, and taking on various odd jobs. We were still learning about ourselves and working out how to turn our passions into careers. “Mosey Creative” became a mantra to help remind ourselves to explore at our own pace, rather than add undue pressure to have everything “figured out.”
In 2018 we moved to Los Angeles, and our creative moseying has developed and branched into each of our own directions. On one limb we have Spencer, who primarily produces records and composes film music. On the other we have Lucy, a music educator and designer. Our website is a catalog of our current projects and interests – enjoy!
SPENCER STEWART
Spencer Stewart is a Grammy nominated music producer and composer based in Los Angeles, CA. He graduated from Berklee College of Music with a dual degree in Film Scoring and Jazz Performance in 2013. Lucy STEWART
Lucy Stewart is a music educator and designer currently teaching after-school Songbird Choir and developing resources on her blog including craft tutorials, DIY projects, illustrations, and lesson ideas. She is especially inspired by projects that help children experience the joy of music, play, and creation.
Lucy earned her degree magna cum laude in Music Education with Choral Emphasis from the University of Washington and is licensed through the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
